Fresh Hair Tips!
So let's be real... I only wash my hair about once a week! To most people this is like seriously shocking but it's just what works for me & my schedule! Everyone is always asking me how I do it so today I'm sharing my Dry Shampoo Routine!
I've seriously tried so many Dry Shampoo's & it's so hard to find something that isn't chalky or heavy. I've used everything from baby powder to drugstore products to high end salon products & this is what I've found to work best! & the best part about these products - they're ALL Paraben, Sulfate & Cruelty FREE!
r+co DEATH VALLEY
Death Valley has been my favorite Dry Shampoo for so long. It's super lightweight & not sticky or chalky. I always spray this on my arm for clients to feel because there is literally no residue! I use this on about my second/third day after washing. I normally brush my hair, spray & then brush again.
kevin.murphy fresh.hair
This stuff is GOLD!! It's not heavy/powdery at all & it's seriously a spray & go kind of product. I would say this is a step up from the Death Valley on oil absorbing which is why I use it on the fourth/fifth day with the same process... brush/spray/brush!
r+co skyline
So this stuff is kind of heavy duty! It does work as an every day product but since it is a powder it gives a little bit more texture/volume than your regular dry shampoo. I like to mix this with the Death Valley when I am really pushing it to my next hair wash! (Days 6-7) The powder is so fine & it's in a pump, you are definitely getting your money's worth with this one because you barely have to use any!
I LOVE all these products but it just depends on your hair & you! If you're looking for a good everyday dry shampoo, Death Valley & FRESH.HAIR are my top picks. If your hair gets extra oily or falls limp between washes I would suggest Skyline for the extra texture/volume!
Another way to extend your wash is to start with good Shampoo/Conditioner! I will link what I use below but I've had so many questions asking if salon shampoo is actually worth it.. YES, YES, YES! A few reasons being your salon products will last longer, they contain higher-grade ingredients & a greater percentage in each bottle, & of course they are formulated without sulfates & parabens as I mentioned above!
